Against The Tide explores the real-world impacts of rising sea levels on the island nation of Kiribati, where changes to the climate has threatened homes, livelihoods, and cultural heritage. Through hidden object gameplay, the game invites players to learn more about how Kiribati is being impacted and how the community is coming together to build climate resilience.

Call to Action

Against The Tide encourages players to learn more about the lived experiences of communities in low-lying islands and to explore ways to support their climate resilience efforts. Through introducing relevant climate organizations and their successful community efforts, we hope to encourage players to advocate for climate justice through supporting organizations and volunteering in their own communities.
